杨洁 博士

Dr. Yang Jie

杨洁，女，山东威海人。毕业于英国爱丁堡大学语言学专业，获博士学位。现任中国石油大学（华东）必赢线路检测3003no1讲师，学术型硕士及翻译硕士导师，主讲“认知语言学”“跨文化交际导论”“英语文体与修辞”等课程。研究方向聚焦认知语义、法律英语、公共服务翻译。2020年出版英文专著《汉语运动事件类型学探究》(浙江大学出版社)。2023年以第二作者身份出版《探寻中华文化之美：品味酒文化》（新华出版社）。本科专业为英语（翻译），系统学习过翻译理论，热爱翻译，参与《中国梦与人权发展》英译全书的校对工作。担任学院外事办主任期间（2022年4月至2023年10月），负责校译学院英文网站的稿件，累计已超5万词。依托青岛地缘优势，多次担任各种会议及活动的随同翻译。主持科研教改项多项，出版英文教材一部，发表文章三篇。

Dr. Yang Jie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Doctorate degree in Linguistics. She is currently a lecturer at the School of Foreign Studies of China University of Petroleum (East China), where she teaches courses including “Cognitive Linguistics”, “Introduction to Intercultural Communication” and “English Style and Rhetoric”, while supervising both academic postgraduates and Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) students. Her research focuses on cognitive semantics, legal English, and public service translation.

Dr. Yang published the monograph Revising Talmy’s Typology of Motion Events in the light of Chinese (Zhejiang University Press, 2020) and co-authored Exploring the Beauty of Chinese Culture: Taste the Wine Culture (Xinhua Publishing House, 2024). From April 2022 to October 2023, she served as the Director of the School’s Foreign Affairs Office, responsible for proofreading over 50,000 words of translated content for the School’s English website.

With extensive interpreting experience in Qingdao’s international events, Dr. Yang has participated in significant translation projects including the English proofreading of Chinese Dream and Human Rights. She has led multiple research and teaching reform projects, published an English textbook, and authored three academic papers.
