Associate Professor Zhang Xiaohao

张小号，男，法学博士，西安外国语大学高级翻译学院副院长，副教授，硕士生导师。广东信达（西安）律师事务所律师，西安仲裁委员会仲裁员，中国科学技术法学会理事，陕西省级法治人才库涉外领域专家学者，获律师执业资格及法律职业资格。美国印第安纳大学麦肯尼法学院访问学者。研究方向为法律翻译、术语翻译、知识产权法、商法；曾主持2023年度教育部人文社会科学研究项目；2018年度教育部人文社会科学研究项目；陕西高等教育教学改革研究项目；曾在国内外知名期刊发表18篇论文，参编教材《国际知识产权简明教程》，专著《知识产权侵权警告立法规制研究》，译著《私有化法律改革——专利私法的历史1620-1907》（第一译者）。

Dr. Zhang Xiaohao is Associate Professor, Supervisor for Masters’ Program Candidates, and Deputy Dean of the School of Translation Studies at Xi’an International Studies University. He serves as Lawyer of Sundial (Xi’an) Law Firm, Arbitrator of Xi’an Arbitration Commission, Director of China Law Association on Science and Technology, Expert and Scholar in the field of foreign-related affairs of Shaanxi Provincial Legal Talent Pool. He has obtained lawyer’ license and Legal Profession Qualification Certificate of People’ Republic of China. Professor Zhang was a Visiting Scholar at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Professor Zhang’s research interests are legal translation, terminology translation, intellectual property law, commercial law. He has presided over the 2018 and 2023 General Project of MOE (Ministry of Education) Foundation for Humanities and Social Sciences, and Shaanxi Higher Education Teaching Reform Research Project. He has published 18 papers in well-known journals at home and abroad, participated in the compilation of the textbook A Short Course in International Intellectual Property Rights, the monograph Research on Legislative Regulation of Intellectual Property Infringement Warnings, and translated book Privatised Law Reform: A History of Patent Law through Private Legislation 1620-1907 (first translator).
